HOW TO CONFIGURE ANY JAVA PHONE TO CONNECT APPS/GAMES WITH THE INTERNET
This tutorial assists you in configuring a jar application such as Opera Mini, 2go, Nimbuzz, UCBrowser, etc to connect with the internet when using a java phone.
I'm using my nokia 3120classic as an example for this steps. But this step applies to most other java, s40 and classic phones.
Step 1: Phone Configuration.
Go to our provisional files section & download any nokia prov file, depending on your network or you can create your own prov at
xmlprov.com.
Send it to a symbian nokia phone, china phone, samsung, sony ericcson, sagiem or even ur computer and make sure the filename ends with .prov if not, rename it to .prov
Then send the file to your nokia java phone and Save it as settings.
Note: the file MUST be sent thru infra red or bluetooth to your phone !
In ur fone, go to Menu>Settings>Configuration. Select the file you downloaded and saved as ur default settings.
Make sure you go down to "Activate default in all applications" and press OK. Den exit.
Step 2: Configuring the application.
Go 2 the java application or game (don't open it). Then go to Options>Application access>
Data access>Add and edit data... Select Ask everytime. Go back
Communication>Network acess... Select Ask first time only
Thats all.
Hope dis info helps!
